Why do you need to give your life to Jesus and accept Him as your
personal savior? You need to accept Jesus and get saved because
we are all sinners, which means we have all broken God's
commandments. Have you ever lied, stolen or desired to have
something that did not belong to you? We all have at least lied a time
or two in our lives. The Bible tells us in James 2:10 that if we break
one of God's commandments, it is as if we have broken them all.
Because we have broken God's commandments we are all in danger
of Hell.
The greatest thing is that God wants to let you start over, He wants to
help you, and He wants to guide you. God wants all His children to
accept Him; it’s just up to you to make the decision. But without free
will God wouldn’t be able to demonstrate to you how much He loves
you. Think about everything you’ve done wrong, how awesome is it
that God will wash that clean all in one instance if you allow Him to – all
because He loves you so much and will never think about it again-
never. We think that’s awesome, don’t you?
Jesus is ready to come into your life. He's just waiting for you to ask
Him to. But how do you know how to invite Him in, if you don't have any
clue what to say? Well, you can let your heart lead you, God will hear
you.
God Bless You
By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name" (Hebrews 13:15).
What is this "sacrifice of praise" David wrote, "I will offer to thee the
sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord" (Psalm
116:17 and 107:22). Our offering of praise and thanksgiving to God
consumes our time and attention. But God is pleased when we turn from
other activities to such a sacrifice. Rev 5:8 mentioned the prayers of
saints as incense wafting through the courts of heaven. "Let my prayer be
set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the
evening sacrifice" (Ps. 141:2).
Acceptable sacrifices are motivated by definite Godlike principles. In
Hebrews 13:10-16 we read: "We have an altar, whereof they have no
right to eat which serve the tabernacle. For the bodies of those beasts,
whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are
burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify
the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth
therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. For here have
we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. By him therefore let us
offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips
giving thanks to his name. But to do well and communicate forget not: for
with sacrifices God is well pleased."
The word "altar" refers to the provision which, by God’s grace, has been
sanctified by the blood of Christ Jesus. There we may present in sacrifice
all that we have and hope for as justified human beings. Thereby we
partake of the riches of divine grace given to us in the great hope of
becoming joint-heirs with his glorified son. Therefore give thanks in all
things.
God bless you.
